Care

General Maintenance: Repot once they show signs of being root bound (stunted growth, yellowing leaves, etc.). Can be put outside during the summer, but keep indoors during the fall and winter as they will not tolerate temperatures that near freezing.

Temperature: Keep indoors at room temperature. Don't allow to go below 16°C or above 26°C, as they can become stressed and drop leaves, flowers and potentially their fruit.

Light: Full sun. They require a minimum of 6 hours of sunlight per day to grow properly and have the possiblity of bearing fruit.

Watering: Water once the top inch of soil is dry. Water through the pot until there is water coming from the bottom, but do not let stand in water. Similarly, do not let the tree completely dry out. Reduce watering in the winter.

Soil: A well-draining, nutritious soil blend with a slightly acidic pH.

Fertilizer: Diluted fertilizer once every 2-3 weeks during the growing season (April to August).
