Needs 6 weeks of 10 C to initiate floret development. Harvest the central floret as soon as it forms to promote the development of side shoots.

How to Grow

Start seed indoors in a sterile growing medium in mid-spring. Transplant to a sunny spot from late May through early July for a fall harvest. Keep soil evenly watered. Young leaves, shoots and florets are very tasty raw or sautéed. Planting Depth: 6mm (1/4in). Seed Spacing: 7.5cm (3in). Thin To: 45cm (18in). Row Width: 60cm (24in).
