Care

General Maintenance: Repot every spring when the plant is still new, and after a few seasons only repot once it has become root bound. Renew the topsoil every year to provide the plant with new nutrients. Prune to maintain a neat habit and reasonable height.

Temperature: 15°C - 24°C is ideal. Ensure they are not exposed to temperatures below 12°C.

Light: A brightly lit spot without direct sunlight is ideal.

Watering: Water once the top few inches of soil have completely dried out. Do not overwater. Average humidity is fine. Occasionally mist the plant during warmer summer months.

Soil: A well-drained and well-aerated soil works best. 1 part peat, 1 part bark and 1 part coarse sand or perlite is a good mix.

Fertilizer: Feed during spring and summer once every two weeks with a diluted liquid fertilizer.
