Ficus Elastica, commonly known as the Rubber Tree, is a stunning variety of ficus that has broad, thick and shiny leaves. The white, milky sap inside is commonly referred to as latex, and was originally used to make rubber. The Ruby is a stunning variety that has the same variegation as the Tineke, but in red and pink tones versus yellow and cream. The green in their leaves is also much darker in comparison.

Soil: Does well in any general houseplant soil mix, as long as it is well-draining.
Fertilizer: Fertilize once a month during the growing season (May - Aug) with a balanced liquid fertilizer.
