50 Days To Harvest: Brightly coloured stems in various hues of yellow, crimson, gold, orange, violet, purple, green and white contrast nicely with dark green, deeply crinckled leaves. Light tasting leaves are delicious cooked or in salads.
Sowing: Sow seed 2.5cm deep in successive crops every 2 weeks from mid-[sring to early summer. Plants do best in a sunny site with well-drained soil. Keep evenly watered for best growth.
Comments: Remove outer leaves first by cutting at the base of the stem, then working towards the centre. Harvest regularly for a continuous supply of tender new growth.
