Sowing: Seed can be sown indoors from mid April to mid May using plantable paper pots and a soil-less mix or directly outdoors in late May to early June. When planting outdoors, seeds need warm sandy soil and 5-10 days at 24C/75F to germinate properly.
Comments: Before planting, dig in well rotted manure or organic matter. When fully ripe, the flesh turns dark red.
