Care
General Maintenance: Swiss Cheese plants can ge grown as trailing plants, or trained to climb up a trellis, moss pole, etc. They enjoy being slightly root bound, so only repot when necessary. They are very easy to propagate from cuttings to make a fuller looking plant, or to share with your plant-loving friends.Temperature: Thrives in normal household temperatures, between 17ºC-26ºC. Keep away from drafts and drastic temperature changes.
Light: Plenty of bright indirect light is ideal.
Watering: Water once the top 2-3 inches of soil is dry. Monsteras hate to be overwatered, so ensure your pot has proper drainage to avoid the roots sitting in excess water.
Soil: A well-draining potting mix is essential. Adding perlite or orchid mix to your soil is a great way to improve drainage.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer once every 3-4 weeks during the spring and summer months.
