Stalks can vary from pink to red with similar interior colour. Ripen in early Summer and can be harvested for weeks to come. Medium to heavy stalk production. Stems retain their colour when cooked and have a sweet, mild flavor. Thrives in rich, moist, well-drained loamy soils. Leaves are toxic if ingested.
