A hardy ornamental tree with masses of greenish yellow flower clusters appearing at the branch tips in late spring. Handsome glossy green lobed summer foliage turns a brilliant yellow in the fall. Quite rare. Slow growing, makes a special accent.

General Maintenance: Best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. Light: Full sun to partial shade. Watering: Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Soil: Easily grown in average, medium wet, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Prefers moist, fertile soils. Foliage tends to scorch and generally depreciate in dry conditions. Fertilizer: Feed in early spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to the new growth.
