Care
General Maintenance: Can be repotted in the spring if it has become quite rootbound. This plant is usually propagated by dividing while it is being repotted.Temperature: Needs to be kept warm, ideally between 18-22°C.
Light: Thrives best in well lit, bright conditions. Indirect light is best as direct sunlight will scorch the leaves.
Watering: Keep the soil moist. Do not allow the soil to completely dry out. Watering in little amounts often is a good approach. Needs a moist environment with above average humidity. Stand on a pebble tray to improve humidity and mist frequently. Pop it near the shower for a while to give it an occasional boost if required. Ideal in kitchens and bathrooms.
Fertilizer: Apply a slow release fertiliser once a month during the growing season (May-Aug).
Soil: Well draining and peat-based are ideal for this plant.
