Needs 6 weeks of 10 C to initiate floret development. Harvest the central floret as soon as it forms to promote the development of side shoots.

Start seed indoors in a sterile growing medium in mid-spring. Transplant to a sunny spot from late May through early July for a fall harvest. Keep soil evenly watered.
