Care

General Maintenance:  Turtle vines grow exceptionally quick, so you may find that you are needing to repot them more often than most houseplants.  When they become rootbound, transplant them into a pot that is roughly 2" bigger.  They are easily propagated by separating the plant or taking cuttings.

Temperature:  Thrives in normal household temperatures, between 15º-26º Celsius.   Keep away from drafts and drastic temperature changes.

Light: Bright indirect light is ideal for these plants.  They also do very well in lower light conditions.  Direct sun may scorch their leaves. Putting them in a North or East facing window would be perfect.

Watering:  Water when the top 2" of soil is dry to the touch. You can check this by sticking your finger into the soil to feel for moisture.  Turtle vines do not like to dry out completely.

Soil: Any well-draining potting mix will work well.Ensure your pot has adequate drainage to avoid excess water sitting at the roots.

Fertilizer:  Feed with a liquid houseplant fertilizer once a month during the spring and summer months.
