Long blooming season of showy trumpet-shaped blooms with orange throats backed by attractive blue-green foliage. Handsome, dense vine for fences, arbors, even as a groundcover. Long lasting red berries follow the blooms. Hardy, tolerant, fast-growing vine with repeat blooms.
General Maintenance: Prune broken or damaged limbs each spring to promote vigorous new growth. Needs to have support from trellis or lattice. Light: Full sun to partial sun. Watering: Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Requires less water when established. Soil: It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. Fertilizer: Feed in early spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to the new growth.
