Mother of Thousands is a succulent variety, admired for its ability to create 'thousands' of baby plants. It features broad green leaves that are very soft to the touch. Along the edges you will notice small ridges, which is where the baby plantlets will forn.

General Maintenance: Repot every 1-2 years as needed to accommodate the growing rootball size. Propagate by gently removing the plantlets once they have sprouted tiny roots, place them into soil, and mist every few days until they are established.
Temperature: Thrives in normal household temperatures, between 15ºC-26ºC. Keep away from drafts and drastic temperature changes.
Light: Place in a spot that receives at least 6 hours of light each day, either direct or bright indirect light. This plant will not do well in low light conditions.
Watering: Water only once the soil has dried completely. The leaves will start to look wrinkled if the plant is in need of water.
Soil: Cactus mix is best suited for this plant, to provide adequate drainage. You can also use regular potting mix, with added sand or bark to meet the plants drainage needs. It will develop root rot if the soil does not adequately drain.
Fertilizer: Feed once every 6-8 weeks with a liquid houseplant fertilizer, diluted to half strength. Only feed from March-September.
