How to Grow

Start seeds indoors in a sterile medium 10 weeks before plant out time or direct seed in a sunny site with light well-drained soil in early spring as soon as soil becomes workable. Planting Depth: 12.5mm (1/2in). Seed Spacing: 12.5mm (1/2in). Thin to: 7.5cm (3in). Row Width: 25cm (10in). Use thinnings as spring onions. Often grown as an edible ornamental plant. While relatively drought tolerant, keep plants evenly watered through periods of drought for best harvest. Bees are attracted by the flowers.
