This Philodendron is a non-stop display of colour changes.  It's new growth starts as a copper colour, then changes to a vibrant red, and finally to a deep shiny green.  It is a very low maintenance plant, and a great air purifier.

Care

General Maintenance: Ensure your pot has adequate drainage to avoid root rot.  Repot every 1-2 years as needed.  Trim away any dead leaves, as necessary.  Easily propagated from cuttings with nodes.

Temperature:  Thrives in normal household temperatures, between 15º-26º Celsius.   Keep away from drafts and drastic temperature changes.

Light: Can tolerate lower light conditions, but will grow fastest in bright, indirect light.  Avoid direct sunlight, as it may scorch the leaves.

Watering: Water thoroughly, then allow the top 50% of the soil to dry before watering again.  Yellow leaves may indicate overwatering, while brown leaves may indicate that your plant needs more water.

Soil: Any well-draining potting mix.

Fertilizer: Philodendrons are not heavy feeders, but will benefit from a balanced houseplant fertilizer every 3 weeks or so, during the spring and summer.
