General: Tulips require a long period of cool temperatures to undergo the biochemical process that allows them to flower. So, in the fall get them in the ground ideally six weeks before hard freezes to give them the time they need to develop strong roots. Light: Full sun to partial sun. Plant Depth: 10 - 15cm (4 - 6 in.) Spacing: 2.5 - 15cm (1 - 6 in.)
