Small rounded deciduous shrub with outstanding variegated foliage dappled green, pink and white. Fine textured pink stems and buds add to its appeal year round. Sometimes top grafted to create a special small accent tree. Shrub is great for borders.
General Maintenance: Little pruning is necessary but can cut back heavily in spring to promote strong new growth and rejuvenate every few years. Prune broken or damaged limbs. Light: Full sun Watering: Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system; reduce frequency once established. Soil: Can tolerate most soils. Fertilizer: Feed in early spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to the new growth.
