Care

General Maintenance: Treat like a succulent, very easy to grow. Both hot and dry conditions seem to encourage leaf coils the most. They are considered to be a pest & disease free plant. The tip of the leaves will start to brown after flowering, just remove the flower stalks once done.

Temperature: Temperatures not less than 16°C. To produce viable seeds, put in colder temperatures above freezing point during winter.

Light: Partial to full sun. It is accustomed to it's native range with lots of light so full sun is ideal.

Watering: Consistent moisture during winter, drought tolerant in summer. Let soil dry out between waterings.

Fertilizer: Slow release fertilizer once a month.

Soil: Sandy, loose soil is best.
