Care

General Maintenance: Can be repotted once the plant has become quite rootbound.

Temperature: Will thrive in temperatures of 18°C to 29°C. Avoid temperatures below 16°C as this can trigger dormancy.

Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid more than 1-2 hours of direct sunlight to prevent sunburn.

Watering: Water once the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry. Less in the winter.

Fertilizer: Alocasia benefits from regular fertilizing while actively growing. Use a water-soluble fertilizer every month, or liquid fertilizer diluted once a week while watering.

Soil: Well draining. Can mix perlite or orchid bark into a peat-moss based soil for a perfect aroid mix.
