This Alocasia variety displays large, ovate leaves that are emerald green in colour. The stem is dark and carries up to share that black colour with the veins on the underside of the leaves.

Care
General Maintenance: Repot in the spring, into a pot one size larger, if the plant has become very root bound. You can propagate by division while repotting.Temperature: Ideal temperatures are between 18°C - 24°C.
Light: Prefers bright light, but indirect. Direct sun can cause sunburn to the leaves.
Watering: Water often, but in small amounts to keep the soil consistently moist. Enjoys extra humidity which can be provided by misting or a pebble tray.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced fertilizer every 2 weeks from May to August.
Soil: Use a fast-draining, peat-based potting mix.
