Care

General Maintenance: You should repot this plant during the springtime, and only repot once its too big for its current pot. This will be about every 2 - 3 years.

Temperature: Ideally, they thrive in 21 to 32 degrees Celsius. A humidifier is recommended, as these plants love a humid environment.

Light: These plants love mostly bright, indirect light or filtered sunlight. Keep away from direct sun, although a little is fine.

Watering: After watering thoroughly, be sure to discard excess water if any is caught in a basin/bowl below. These roots will rot very easily, so this step is important. Don't water until the top two inches are dry.

Soil: Since these plants are epiphytes, they require exceptional drainage. Mixing orchid bark with a potting mix is a secret to helping them grow well. 1 park orchid bark to 2-3 parts, all-purpose, peat-based potting soil is best. You can put in a little perlite for good measure, and don't forget a well draining pot.

Fertilizer: Fertilize during active growing seasons, spring and summer. A well diluted, liquid fertilizer that is urea-free is suggested.
