Care

General Maintenance: Very low maintenance. Cacti can be repotted when rootbound. This usually occurs every 2-3 years in fast-growing species and every 3-4 years in slow-growing species.

Temperature: Does best in warm temperatures. Room temperatures that average 18-24ºC will be fine. Avoid drafts and sudden temperature changes. Provide slightly cooler temperatures in the winter to promote flowering.

Light: Provide partial sun to full sun. Watch for signs of sunburn if in continuous full sun. Needs bright light for at least 4 - 6 hours per day.

Watering: Water only when completely dry and use a well-draining soil to prevent root rot.

Soil: Any well-draining soil will work. Cactus mix is ideal.

Fertilizer: Can fertilize in the spring if desired but does not require.
