Attractive chartreuse leaves keep their color in the sun and through the heat of the summer. New leaves are tinged with bronze and the stems have a rich red hue early in the season. Care

General Maintenance: Little pruning is necessary, although pruning to ground level when old to rejuvenate fresh new growth is recommended. Prune to remove broken or damaged limbs.
Light: Full sun to partial shade
Watering: Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Once established, reduce frequency. Adaptable; can tolerate both dry conditions and some standing water.
Soil: Prefers a moist, well drained, slightly acidic soil.
Fertilizer: Feed in early spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to the new growth.
