Care
General Maintenance: This slow growing plant can be planted year round and boasts tiny white flowers. It is generally grown as a potted house plant, and requires some pruning. Keep away from pets!Temperature: 21 to 26 degrees Celsius is perfect, and regular household humidity should be just fine. If your house is particularly dry, consider misting the plant a little now and then.
Light: They grow best in bright light, but can also easily survive in partial shade. Keep out of direct sun rays, so that it doesn't burn.
Watering: Distilled water is recommended! Be careful not to overwater your Dracaena. To ensure it doesn't drown, wait until the top half of the soil is dry before watering (approximately 3+ weeks). If it develops brown tips, that's your cue it has received too much water.
Soil: A loose, well draining potting mix is what the Dracaena prefers. Make sure the container has room for an extensive root system.
Fertilizer: Fertilizer is non-essential for Dracaenas, however to boost their growth, you can feed them lightly in the spring, with a balanced control-release liquid fertilizer. Do not fertilize in the winter.
