Care

General Maintenance: Clip off any dead flowers or browning leaves when they appear to promote more flower growth and a healthy plant.

Temperature: Do not let them go below 12°C, or above 28°C.

Light: For the biggest and best blooms provide them with plenty of light. They would love full-sun, but can also tolerate indoor lighting so long as they are in a windowsill where they can receive plenty of light.

Watering: Water when the top 1-2in of soil is dry. Don't allow to fully dry out. Remove the foil cover around the base of the pot when watering so water does not get trapped around the base and cause root rot.

Fertilizer: Fertilize with a phosphorus-based fertilizer once a month during the growing season (April to August).

Soil: They would love a well-drained soil and can tolerate slightly sandy soils. They love slightly acidic soil.
