Care
General Maintenance: Monsteras like to be slightly rootbound, so they will not need to be repotted very often. They can grow freely or be trained to climb up a trellis or moss pole for a more clean/compact look. They are very easy to propagate by rooting cuttings with nodes in water until the roots are 2-3 inches long, and then planting into soil.Temperature: Thrives in normal household temperatures, between 17ºC-26ºC. Keep away from drafts and drastic temperature changes.
Light: Plenty of bright indirect light is ideal.
Watering: Water once the top 2-3 inches of soil is dry. Monsteras hate to be overwatered, so ensure your pot has proper drainage to avoid the roots sitting in excess water.
Soil: A well-draining potting mix is essential. Adding perlite or orchid mix to your soil is a great way to improve drainage.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer once every 3-4 weeks during the spring and summer months.
