A yellow rugosa! Light orange buds open to sweetly scented clusters of recurrent, cream-yellow, semi-double blooms which mellow to a soft yellow. Glossy, green foliage has good disease resistance. Tolerates alkaline soils and drought once established. Prefers a moist, well drained soil.
General Maintenance: Prune in late winter or early spring after threat of frost is gone to promote vigorous new growth. Mulch to keep roots cool. Light: Full sun Watering: Water deeply, regularly in first growing season to establish an extensive root system; avoid overhead watering. Soil: Thrives in enriched, loamy, well-drained soil. Fertilizer: Feed before new growth begins in spring; repeat mid-season.
