The Aloe Aristata is a wonderful variety of aloe that has a much darker appearance than that of the common aloe. This plant grows in tight rosettes that have a similar appearance and feel to that of Haworthias. The most prominent feature of these plants is the fine white 'hairs' that grow from the tips of each leaf, giving it the common name of Lace Aloe

Temperature: Keeping Aloe around regular household temperatures will allow these plants to thrive. They are hardy to cold temperatures as low as 14 degrees Celsius, and can tolerate short amounts of time between 5-14 degrees
Light: These plants love full sun, and can barely get enough of it. Provide bright light for at least 6 hours a day but they will thrive with a minimum of 8 horus
Watering: These succulents hold a lot of moisture in their waxy leaves. As such they rarely need watering, water when the top 50% of soil is dry
Soil: A succulent mix that provides good aeration and well-draining is best for these succulents. Mixing in Perlite or other gritty materials so the soil mixture is 1:1 will allow for best growth
