Care

General Maintenance: Syngoniums are best propagated via stem cuttings rooted in water or your preferred medium. Repotting every 2 years into a pot that is 1 size larger in the start of the growing season.

Temperature: Syngoniums enjoy the moderate temperatures of room temperature. Keep them between 18-26 degrees Celsius for optimum growth.

Light: These plants will thrive in medium light settings away from a windowsill, where the sun's rays can burn the leaves. They will tolerate low light settings as well, though they will grow at a slower rate.

Watering: Water your syngoniums when the surface of the soil is dry. They enjoy a moist environment, but make sure that the soil doesn't get water-logged, or the roots can rot.

Soil: A well-draining soil mix with organic matter mixed in will make these plants very happy.

Fertilizer: Fertilize once every 1-2 weeks with a diluted balanced houseplant fertilizer during the growing season (April - August).
