Care
General Maintenance: Grows best in humidity above 50% but can still do well below that.Temperature: Around 25 degrees Celsius seems to keep the Xanthosoma happy.
Light: It does best in part shade. Too much sun will burn the leaves, as with most of its kind, and too much shade and it will lose its lime colour and turn green.
Watering: Let the soil dry out quite thoroughly before watering, as these plants are more prone to root rot.
Soil: Prefers a well draining soil with plenty of aeration, as it does not like soggy roots.
Fertilizer: Very small amounts of diluted fertilizer on a weekly basis perk this vibrant plant right up! You can give a little extra during blooming season.
